Nick Ferring
Owner and CEO
As son of John Ferring IV (PLZ Founder) and
grandson of John Ferring III (founder of Plaze) Nick has grown up in the aerosol business and
now the third generation Ferring as a family owner and operator. Prior to leading the CustomPak business Nick spent 12 years in various Operations and Sales leadership roles. Most recently leading the PLZ Industrial group with revenues of $175MM. Nick is also an active leader in the aerosol industry with over 8 years serving on the National Aerosol Association Board of Directors.
John Ferring
Owner/Strategic Advisor
Former Executive Chairman and founder of PLZ Corp. Started in the aerosol business in 1978 with purchase of Plaze Inc. from his father John Ferring III. John has over 50 years in the aerosol business, and strong relationships throughout the industry. He will serve as a strategic advisor to the Custom Pak leadership team.
Shannon Bufford
VP of Operations
As VP of Operations Shannon oversees the day-to-day operations of Custom Pak. Including production, quality, scheduling, maintenance, and supply chain. Shannon joined Custom Pak Products in 2014 after over 10 years at Quest, Raabe, and later Valspar. Shannon has over 20 years in the aerosol manufacturing business.
Jeff Head
VP of Finance
As VP of Finance Jeff’s responsibilities include Financial Planning and Analysis, P&L Management, Investment Decision Analysis, Strategic Planning, and Accounting and Controls. Prior to joining Custom Pak Jeff spent 35 years in various finance leadership roles at John Deere, including most recently in the Portfolio Management division where he was responsible for the development of the John Deere utility vehicle and residential lawn equipment portfolios with annual revenues of approximately $2.5 billion.
Kelly Flowers
Director of Sales
As Director of Sales Kelly has full responsibility for all Custom Pak accounts as well as having our Customer Service and Project Management organizations reporting to her. Prior to joining Custom Pak Kelly spent 16 years at Larsen Manufacturing in various customer service, product and program manager, and sales leadership roles.
